Ice Bears Announce Grand Opening of Pro Shop

Knoxville, TN - (December 13, 2012) The Knoxville Ice Bears announced today the grand opening of the Knoxville Ice Bears Pro Shop at Cool Sports, Home of the IceArium on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The grand opening will feature appearances from Knoxville Ice Bears players, door prizes, food and drinks, video game contests vs. Ice Bears players, and great merchandise specials. The afternoon will be filled with fun and excitement for all who join the team and staff for this momentous occasion.
"We have been overwhelmed with appreciation for extending our footprint to west Knoxville. The demand for our merchandise coupled with our love and passion for the game has afforded us this fantastic opportunity to service more of the community," said President and General Manager Mike Murray.
Just in time for Christmas season, the Knoxville Ice Bears transformed the space to a customer friendly environment that features the accomplishments of the team over the past 10 seasons. The Knoxville Ice Bears will now be available seven days a week as they have opened a pro shop that will feature Ice Bears branded apparel, hockey and figure skating equipment, and skate sharpening.
The Knoxville Ice Bears will be hosting two games this weekend as they battle on home ice against the Mississippi RiverKings on Friday, Dec. 14 for "Give-A-Way Night." On Saturday, the Ice Bears will be back in action to host the resurging Augusta RiverHawks for "Guaranteed Fight Night" presented by WATE and Star 102.1 in support of American Cancer Society. The team will be donning specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off immediately following the game.
All home games are played at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum with puck drop at 7:30 pm.
