
Huskies Fall to Waterloo

Duluth Huskies News Release
Duluth, Minn. -- The Huskies returned to Duluth after a two game split with the Eau Claire Express. The Waterloo Bucks came to town unbeaten and took the game 7-4. Brady Arenson took the loss for the Huskies, pitching 3.1 innings. Winning pitcher, Preston Church went five innings for the Bucks.
The Huskies struggled on defense on the night with four errors in the field. Offensively, Matt McLaughlin went 3-5 and Alex Wojciechowski was 2-4 with an RBI. Left fielder, Colton Waltner, making his first appearance with the Huskies went 2-4 with an RBI.
Waterloo was led offensively by shortstop Mikel Hill and catcher Matthew Stemper. They combined for five of the nine hits on the night.
Duluth (2-2) will be back in action Sunday at 5:05pm for game two against Waterloo (5-0).
