Lethbridge, AB - The Hurricanes are coming off a wild week that saw them take four of a possible four points with a mid week 3-2 win over the Everett Silver Tips and a Saturday night barn burner 6-5 in a shootout over the Swift Current Broncos. This is a huge week for the Canes as they have four games, including three against Central Division rivals. (Calgary, Medicine Hat, Kootenay)

Storm Warnings:

- Get Carter: Ashton received an invitation to play for Team WHL in Game 6 of the 2009 Subway Super Series on November 26th in Kelowna, BC against the Russian Selects, this will mark Ashton's first appearance for Team WHL.

- Stat Leaders: Carter Bancks - 23 points; Mitch Maxwell - 11 goals; Carter Bancks - 16 assists; Carter Bancks - 1.21 Pts/G; Carter Ashton - 5 PPGs; Carter Bancks - 1 SHG; Austin Fyten +4; Mike Reddington - 54 PIMs;

- Money in the Bancks: Captain Carter Bancks has tallied a team leading 23 points (7G, 16A) in 19 games in 09-10

- The "New Kid" - WHL rookie Mitch Maxwell leads all Canes rookies with 15 points (11G, 4A) in 18 games and just came off a five game goal scoring streak. His 11 goals are good for second in the WHL rookie goal scoring race.

- True Grit: The Canes acquired 20 year old forward Dustin Donaghy from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft. This was the pick acquired by the Canes from Tri City in exchange for Cody Castro. Donaghy hails from Cranbrook, BC and played alongside current Carter Bancks throughout minor hockey and last with Kimberly in the KIJHL.

- "Tot" notch student: Lethbridge Hurricanes rookie Philip Tot was recently named to the Honor Roll at Winston Churchill High

Tuesday, November 10th

GAME NIGHT Lethbridge vs. Calgary 7:00PM

The Calgary Hitmen roll into town for the first time since their four game sweep of the Canes in the second round of the 2009 WHL Playoffs. Lethbridge fans will no doubt have a warm Southern Albert welcome for the Hitmen, who have had a playoff series against the Hurricanes in both of the past two seasons, with Lethbridge sweeping Calgary 4-0 in the 2008 WHL Eastern Conference Championship series. In the 08-09 regular season, Lethbridge posted a 0-4-1-1 record against Calgary. On this the eve before Remembrance Day - Home Depot and the Lethbridge Hurricanes will be hosting Military Appreciation night at the ENMAX. The Canes will honor the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces who have served or are currently serving their country with a pregame ceremony.

GAME NIGHT Lethbridge vs. Tri City 7:00PM

The Tri City Americans become the fourth of five U.S. Division teams to visit the ENMAX Centre in 09-10 on this night. The Ams are coming off a strong season which saw them once again capture the U.S. Division crown before being eliminated by the eventual WHL Champion Kelowna Rockets in the second round of the 2009 WHL Playoffs. Lethbridge suffered a 5-2 loss in theses teams only meeting of 08-09 in Kennewick. Cam Braes and Carter Ashton tallied the goals for the Canes. All time the Hurricanes have a 11-7-0-0-0 record against the Americans in Lethbridge and an overall record of 18-15-2-0-0 in their history.

Saturday, November 14th

GAME NIGHT Lethbridge @ Medicine Hat 7:00PM

The Cane will make another trip down Highway 3 to take on their Southern Alberta rivals the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Gas City on this night. The Tabbies took a 7-3 win on the first weekend of the 09-10 season in the only previous meeting between these two clubs this year. On that night Ryon Moser notched his first ever WHL goal in a losing cause. Last season, the Canes faltered with a 3-5-0-0 record against Medicine Hat.

Sunday, November 15th

GAME NIGHT Lethbridge vs. Kootenay 6:00PM

The Hurricanes old rivals, the Kootenay Ice make their first of three visits to the ENMAX Centre on this season. The Canes will look for revenge after very young lineup was handled 8-1 in Cranbrook for the Ice's Home Opener. Fans will see a very different team, as since that game, Carter Ashton, Brennan Yadlowski, Mike Reddington, Landon Oslanski, Mitch Maxwell, Dustin Donaghy and Linden Rowat have been added to the lineup. Fans should also note that as with every Sunday home game (excluding February 14th) this season; this game has a 6:00 PM start time.
