LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Thursday they have acquired 2003-born defenseman Nolan Bentham from the Victoria Royals in exchange for a second round selection in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft along with a seventh and eighth round picks in the 2022 draft and the playing rights to 2004-born forward Chase LaPinta.
Bentham, 18, was originally drafted by the Royals in the first round (13th overall) in the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft. The Victoria, BC product has appeared in 52 career games with the Royals totaling three points (1g-2a) along with 16 penalty minutes.
