Windsor Spitfires News Release
A strong Spitfires debut has earned Garret Hughson our Motorburger Player of the Week nod.
The 20-year-old goaltender - acquired from the Niagara IceDogs (via the WHL's Spokane Chiefs) back on October 21st - was outstanding in his first two Ontario Hockey League starts
last week - shutting out the Flint Firebirds in a 3-0 win on Thursday, before holding the Guelph Storm to a single goal in a 5-1 win Saturday.
Hughson carries a 0.50 goals against average and a .984 save percentage into this week.
With the Spitfires set to hit the road Thursday, Garret will be recognized during our next home game, on November 15th versus Sault Ste Marie, and will receive a $25 Motorburger gift card.
