Wappingers Falls, NY - The Hudson Valley Renegades defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones by a score of 7-1 on Saturday evening at Dutchess Stadium. With the victory, the Renegades saw their record improve to 26-28 while Brooklyn fell to 25-29.
The first four innings went by scoreless as both starting pitchers, Michael Velasquez for Hudson Valley and Gaby Almonte for Brooklyn, combined to allow one hit during that stretch.

That ended the night for Almonte (6-3), who allowed three earned runs in four and two-thirds innings pitched in the loss.
