Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON - Houston Aeros President and General Manager Dave Barr announced today the signing of Peter-Emmanuel Brady as an emergency back-up goaltender. He will serve as back-up to goaltender Derek Gustafson in tonight's game versus the San Antonio Rampage and will wear #29.

The move became necessary when goaltender Frederic Cloutier was injured on Friday in a collision with Chicago's Ben Simon. Houston's other goaltender, Dieter Kochan, remains out with an injury. Brady earlier served as back-up for the Aeros on Feb. 15 and 16 in games against the Utah Grizzlies. He did not see any playing time in those two games.

Brady, 25, is a first-year pro with the Austin Ice Bats (Central Hockey League). He has played 16 games with the Ice Bats and recorded 31 wins and three losses with 2.24 goals against average and a .927 save percentage. The Cap-Rouge, Quebec-native played four seasons of collegiate hockey at the University of Alaska-Anchorage and the University of British Columbia.
