Houston Dynamo FC Announce 2023 Regular Season Schedule

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC and Major League Soccer today announced the full 34-game regular-season schedule for the 2023 season. The Dynamo will open the 2023 season, powered by Shell Energy, with back-to-back matches on the road beginning with the season opener in Ohio on Saturday, Feb. 25 against FC Cincinnati.

The Dynamo will host Austin FC on Saturday, March 18 for the 2023 home opener and that is the first event at the newly renovated stadium. This will be the first opportunity for fans to watch the match from one of the newly installed all-mesh seats and for members to experience the new all-inclusive East Club, a 15,000 square foot premium space located along the East sideline. The multi-million-dollar project is scheduled to be completed prior to the first Dynamo match in downtown Houston.

Including the home opener, Houston will host seven teams that qualified for the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in the first 10 matches in East Downtown. The 17-match home slate will be highlighted by visits from the reigning Concacaf Champions League winners, Seattle Sounders FC, on May 13 and the MLS Cup champions LAFC on June 10.

Individual-match tickets for all home matches will go on sale Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 12 p.m. CT through SeatGeek, the official ticket provider of the club. Pricing varies by seat location and match, but tickets will be available for as low as $11. The Dynamo will continue to support The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center by donating $1 from every single-match ticket purchased online to their mission to end cancer. The Dynamo face their in-state rivals five times in 2023 beginning with the home opener in March. The Dynamo travel to North Texas on May 20 to face FC Dallas for the first time and return to Houston the following weekend to host Austin on May 27. Houston travels to the state capital on June 24 and will host FC Dallas on Sept. 30.

Houston will face St. Louis CITY SC, who makes their MLS debut in 2023, for the first time on June 3 in Missouri. The Dynamo host the MLS newcomers on Sept. 16 to open a two-game homestand that ends on Sept. 20 against Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Due to conference realignment in 2023 the Dynamo will face Austin three times next season and face each of the remaining teams in the Western Conference twice.

Houston will face seven teams from the Eastern Conference in 2023. The Dynamo close the two-game road trip to open the season in Foxborough, Mass. against the New England Revolution on March 4. Houston will close a two-game homestand against New York City FC on March 25 and the Dynamo will travel to Red Bull Arena on April 15 for their first meeting with the New York Red Bulls since 2019. Inter Miami CF will travel to Houston on April 22 and Columbus Crew SC is the final Eastern Conference team to visit Houston in 2023 when they face the Dynamo on Wednesday, Aug. 30. The final road trip to the East Coast is scheduled for Oct. when the Dynamo face Club de Foot Montreal in a midweek match on Oct. 4.

Houston will host the Colorado Rapids on Oct. 7 for the regular season home finale and travel to Oregon for Decision Day against Portland Timbers FC on Oct. 21.

All Dynamo matches will stream on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and the subscription service launches on Feb. 1, 2023. The 2023 season will be the first of a 10-year partnership between MLS and Apple. Current and new Dynamo365 Members will receive one complementary MLS Season Pass subscription per account.
