It's finally here, Inter Miami CF's schedule for the 2023 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season has been announced!

MLS unveiled the team's full 34-game regular season schedule today, giving fans a glimpse of the thrilling season that lies ahead. Here we break down 10 things you need to know about Inter Miami's regular season schedule for its fourth season in MLS.

Opening in South Florida against Montréal

Following its season opener against the LA Galaxy in 2021 and against Chicago Fire FC in 2022, Inter Miami is set to kick off its campaign playing at home for a third consecutive season when the team hosts CF Montréal on Sunday, Feb. 25. DRV PNK Stadium, Inter Miami's home, became a fortress for the team throughout the 2022 season and the goal is to replicate that home form in 2023. Buoyed by the relentless support of its passionate fans, the Heartbeat of the Club, the team compiled a record of 10W-4L-3D at home this season for a total of 33 points, good for a tie for third-most home wins in the league and a tie for sixth-most home points. Inter Miami's Action-Packed Weekends

Inter Miami's 2023 regular season schedule boasts 28 weekend fixtures, with only six games to be played during the work week. First Road Trip: NYCFC

Inter Miami will visit New York City FC on Saturday, March 11 for the the first of its 17 road matches throughout the 2023 regular season, with the team seeking revenge after falling to the New York-based side in round one of the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs.

Sporting Weekend in South Florida

Are you a sports buff? Then South Florida is definitely the place to be for the first weekend of May in 2023. First, Inter Miami is set to host Atlanta United FC on Saturday, May 6, with the team seeking to replicate the result from the last meeting between the sides at DRV PNK Stadium, as Inter Miami earned three points with a 2-1 win in April 2022. Subsequently, Formula 1 will be returning to the Sunshine State for the second edition of the Miami Grand Prix after a successful inaugural edition in 2022, an outing that saw Inter Miami players DeAndre Yedlin and Leonardo Campana in attendance to enjoy the action up-close. The 2023 Miami Grand Prix is set to take place on Sunday, May 7 at the Miami International Autodrome located around Hard Rock Stadium. A weekend of dreams.

First Visits to DRV PNK Stadium

In its fourth season in MLS, Inter Miami will be facing three teams at home for the first time. Inter Miami is set to host FC Dallas in South Florida for the first time on April 1. The team will then square up against Austin FC at DRV PNK Stadium for the first time on Saturday, July 1 in what will be just the second clash between the sides in Club history. Lastly, Inter Miami will host Sporting Kansas City in South Florida for the first time on Saturday, Sept. 9 in what will also be the first-ever matchup between the sides.

New Chapter in Florida Rivalry

The 2023 MLS regular season is ready for two new showdowns in the fierce Florida rivalry between Inter Miami and Orlando City SC. First, Orlando City will be traveling to South Florida for the matchup at DRV PNK Stadium on Sunday, May 20, with Inter Miami then scheduled to visit Orlando's Exploria Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 24. Last time the sides faced each other, Inter Miami sealed its Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoff berth with a 4-1 thumping in South Florida in October 2022.

Taking on the Freshest Face in MLS

MLS's 28th season will see St. Louis CITY SC become the league's 29th franchise, with Inter Miami penned to travel to Missouri to take on the newest MLS team on Saturday, July 15 at CITYPARK.

Back to Where it all Started

Inter Miami's road match against LAFC at Banc of California Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2 will see the team return to where it all began... Nearly four years ago Inter Miami's journey in MLS began with an exciting away fixture against LAFC on March 1, 2020, and the rest, as they say, is history.

First Time Travelers

2023 will see Inter Miami travel to unchartered territory, with the team set to travel to PNC Stadium to face the Houston Dynamo FC away from home for the first time in Club history on Saturday, April 22.

Taking on FC Cincinnati in Final 2023 Regular Season Home Fixture

Inter Miami will play its final 2023 regular season home match on Saturday, Oct. 7 against FC Cincinnati, an opponent which the team enjoys facing at home. Inter Miami has an unbeaten record to date against the Ohio-based side at DRV PNK Stadium, having previously recorded two wins and a draw, including a historic 5-1 win in October 2021 in a match in which the team scored the most goals in a single match in Club history, and recorded the largest margin of victory in team history.
