Houston Aeros 2nd Annual Chilly's Pet Pals Game Sunday

HOUSTON - The Houston Aeros and the Houston Humane Society (HHS) are teaming up for the 2nd Annual "Chilly's Pet Pals" game when the Aeros host the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday, November 22, at 4:05 PM from Toyota Center. Fans have the opportunity to bring their dogs to the game and the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive an Aeros dog leash. HHS will also have their mobile pet adoption onsite on the main concourse throughout the game where fans can adopt a new furry friend.
"We are thrilled to once again partner with the Houston Humane Society for this fun and exciting themed Aeros game," said Aeros Vice President of Marketing and Communications Courtney Eidman. "This is a great opportunity for us to increase awareness and have all animal lovers become involved by supporting a great cause."
There will be a designated upper end zone section for fans that bring their dogs and a portion of ticket sales from those sections will be donated to HHS. Fans can purchase upper end zone seats for $13 ($3 will be directly donated to HHS) and tickets for their dogs are just $10 per dog ($5 will be directly donated to HHS). Fans are asked to purchase their "dog tickets" in advance of November 22, by calling Laura at the Aeros front office at (713) 361- 7947.
"The Houston Humane Society is excited to be participating again with the Houston Aeros," said Executive Director of the Houston Humane Society, Sherry Ferguson. "Their commitment to helping homeless animals is heroic, they are winners on and off the ice."
Season ticket holders wishing to bring their dog to the game are asked to call their Aeros representative to purchase their dog ticket. The Aeros ask that all fans have current tags and vaccinations for all dogs entering the building, and all dogs must be on a non-retractable leash.
The in-game activities on Sunday will celebrate "man's best friend" through a series of dog-friendly video clips, a dog bone eating contest at intermission and much more. The Aeros are also asking fans to send photos of their pets to photos@aeros.com
to be included in the evening's promotions, and one photo will be chosen for a prize. Fans and pets are encouraged to wear their favorite Aeros gear in the photos and to the game. For more information and registration forms, fans can go to www.aeros.com/petpals.
