
Hounds select Haines in Second Round

With their 2nd round pick of the '07 Priority Selection the Soo Greyhounds grabbed a Northern Ontario product in Jamie Haines.
The native of Val Caron, Ontario played this past season for the Valley East Cobras of the Great North Midget League. In 36 games played, Haines had 30 goals and 31 assists good for 61 points along with 144 penalty-minutes.
The 6'1", 175lb left centre is described as a big, strong aggresive forward with good hands who will finish. His toughness and grit helps round out this skilled player.
