Barrie, ON-The Barrie Colts today officially completed the Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection with 15 picks throughout 15 rounds of drafting.

Making their picks via the Internet from the Molson Centre in Barrie, the Colts selected seven forwards, seven defensemen and one goaltender.

"Overall, we are extremely please with the way our draft turned out," stated Colts Director of Player Personnel & Head Scout, Darrell Woodley. "In Mitch Lebar, we selected a player who had an exceptional season in the GTHL, and with the fact that he was weighing out his options between the NCAA and the OHL, we feel we got a top-end player at the 17 spot in the first round. Our second round pick, Clifford, is a character forward that competes night in and night out, and will bring an element of leadership to the club. In the third round, we felt we had to step up on a defenseman, and we feel like we got one of the better ones in the draft in Scott Dawson."

Players born in 1991 were eligible for the first time for Saturday's draft. It was the seventh time the Ontario Hockey League has performed the draft on the Internet, as 20 member clubs made their selections from their respective cities.

The following is a list of players drafted, as each of the first two picks plus one "wildcard" selection and one goaltender are eligible to play in the 2007-08 season.
