Home Record Put To The Test
Published on May 6, 2010 under Major League Soccer (MLS)
Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC's 100 percent home record will be on the line against Chicago Fire at BMO Field on Saturday afternoon. The match will be broadcast live on CBC and The FAN 590 at 4:00 p.m. This match is presented by Primo GrainWise.
It's so far so good for the Reds at home with league wins against Philly and Seattle plus a victory over the Impact in the cup, but Preki's team will face a tough test against a Chicago side led by veteran striker Brian McBride.
De Ro continues to bang in the goals and now has six in six MLS matches this season; that places him second in the league Golden Boot standings. Check out all six goals by clicking here.
If you're coming to the match, make sure you pick up the new Toronto FC Matchday Programme. This week's issue includes Chad Barrett talking about his time as a Chicago player as well as columns from Mo Johnston and Preki. Plus you can find out more about Nick LaBrocca in Quick Fire.
