CHIEFS HOST TRI-CITY FRIDAY ON PINK ICE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS NIGHT PRESENTED BY COVEY RUN WINERY

The top two teams in the Western Conference will go at it...again. For the third straight weekend and for the 10th time this year, the Spokane Chiefs will take on the Tri-City Americans, this time it will happen on pink ice as a part of Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by Covey Run Winery.

All season long, the Chiefs and Americans have battled for bragging rights in the U.S. Division. Like true heavyweights, they have traded shots with the road team winning a majority of the time. Two weeks ago the Americans beat Spokane 7-2 in the Arena. Last week, Spokane traveled to Kennewick to earn a 3- 1 win to give the road team seven wins in nine games. Three of the games have gone into overtime with the Americans winning each time.

Tickets to all home games are available by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.

The Prince Albert Native led the Chiefs in scoring with 27 goals and 72 points in his 19-year-old year of 2001- 02.

Following five seasons in Spokane, Wallin took advantage of the Chiefs Continuing Education Fund and moved on to play in college.
