March 10, 2008 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Tulsa Oilers News Release

(22-31-4, 48 Points 4th Northwest Division)

Four Score: The Tulsa Oilers play four games this week, the second to last week of the regular season. They play at Amarillo Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; host the Mississippi RiverKings Friday at 7:35 p.m., then head to the mountains to take on the Colorado Eagles Saturday at 8:05 p.m. (central time), and Rocky Mountain Rage Sunday at 4:05 p.m. (central time).

One Of Each: The Oilers hit all columns in the standings with a win, loss, and overtime loss last week, and all by one goal. The Oilers dropped a 2-1 decision to Mississippi, lost 6-5 in overtime to Amarillo, and then overcame a 2-0 deficit to beat Wichita Saturday night.

Nice Return: Goaltender Guy St. Vincent returned to action Saturday night from a groin injury, and stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced to run his record to 8-3-0 with the Oilers and 10-3-0 overall for the season.

Start Over: Jeff Christian saw his point streak end at 13 games against Mississippi but started another one against Amarillo, and continued it against Wichita. Warren McCutcheon had an 11 game streak end on Saturday.

Short Stuff: David Alexandre Beauregard scored his eighth shorthanded goal of the season against Amarillo. That is as many as five teams have.

TV Time: Saturday's game from Colorado will be televised on the Altitude Sports Network. It will not be available on CHL Network but can be heard on KRVT AM 1270 and accessed via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com. Tuesday's and Sunday's road games can be hard on KRVT, as well as the internet and on CHL Network.
