
HiToms Host 80's Night

HIGH POINT/THOMASVILLE, N.C. - The Thomasville HiToms will host their first theme night of the 2011 season coming up on Tuesday, June 7 when the team welcomes the Forest City Owls to historic Finch Field for a 7:00 start.
Fans are encouraged to dress in their favorite 1980's attire as the entire night will center around the decade including music, on field promotions and many other exciting activities.
"80's night is a great opportunity for everyone to remember the days of sideways ponytails and aviator sunglasses." Assistant General Manager Billy Madison said.
Madison continued, "It's going to be a lot of fun and we expect a great crowd, so make sure you get tickets today."

The HiToms are a proud member of the Coastal Plain League, the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 15th season in 2011, the CPL features 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. Furthermore, the CPL has had over 800 alumni drafted and 44 alums make their Major League debut thus far.
