Moose Jaw, SK - Tristin Langan netted four goals to lead the Moose Jaw Warriors past the Calgary Hitmen 8-3 on Wednesday night at Mosaic Place.
Justin Almeida, Tyler Smithies, and Tate Popple rounded out the scoring for the Western Hockey League leading Warriors who received three assists each from Tanner Jeannot and Jayden Halbgewachs.
Jakob Stukel scored a pair for Calgary, including one on a third period penalty shot, to hit the 20 goal mark for the third time in his career. Carson Focht added a single to record his first Hitmen goal since coming over in Saturday's trade with Tri-City.
Moose Jaw outshot the visitors 34-21 to improve their record to 34-6-1-2.
The Hitmen will resume their three-game East Division road trip in Manitoba on Friday, Jan. 12 against the Brandon Wheat Kings before wrapping up the swing on Saturday, Jan. 13 in Regina.
Calgary returns home on Tuesday, Jan. 16, to host the Saskatoon Blades. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
