Hitmen Post 3-2 Overtime Win In Lethbridge

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen won their fourth game in a row Friday night posting a 3-2 come-from-behind overtime win in Lethbridge.

Keith Seabrook, with his 11th goal of the season, scored the winner at 1:26 of the extra session.

Eric Bonsor and Brett Sonne also scored for Calgary who overcame a 1-0 first period deficit and a 2-1 third period deficit. It was Sonne's goal midway through the third period that forced overtime. Joel Broda chipped in two assists.

Hurricanes goaltender Juha Metsola turned in a first start performance in the loss stopping 46 of 49 Calgary shots as the Hitmen outshot the Hurricanes 49-25.

The win improves Calgary's Eastern Conference leading record to 43-7-2-1. At 89 points, they sit tied with the Vancouver Giants for first overall.

Calgary returns to action tonight (Saturday) to host Calgary Flames prospect Keith Aulie and the Brandon Wheat Kings. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

It's also the Lunar Celebration Game recognizing the Chinese New Year with post game fireworks.
