PRINCE GEORGE BC - The Vancouver Giants had a goal and an assist from Craig Cunningham as they edged the Prince George Cougars 3-2 on Friday night at the CN Centre.

Evander Kane and Nick Ross also scored for the Giants while Tyson Sexsmith turned aside 20 shots for his 30th win on the season.

The Giants move their WHL best record to 43-4-0-3 and remain 29 points ahead of Kelowna in the BC Division. The Cougars and Giants will play the second of back to back games here in Prince George on Saturday night. You can catch all the action on AM 650, with the SAVE ON FOODS pre-game show at 6:30 pm, puck drop at 7 pm from the CN Centre in Prince George.
