
Hitmen open BC Road Trip with 7-0 Win at Prince George

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen got goals from seven different players, including Joel Broda with his 50th, rolling to a 7-0 win in Prince George Tuesday night.
Kyle Bortis, Brandon Kozun, Keith Seabrook, Jason MacDonald, Bostjan Golicic and Carson McMillan also scored for the Hitmen who built period leads of 1-0 and 4-0.
Martin Jones made 25 saves to record his sixth shutout of the season and seventh of his career.
Paul Postma chipped in three assists while Brett Sonne had a pair of helpers for Calgary.
The win improves the Hitmen record to 56-8-3-1. They lead the Western Hockey League Standings with 116 points sitting four points ahead of the Vancouver Giants for first place overall.
Calgary is back on the ice tonight in Kamloops against the Blazers.
