
Hitmen Fight Cancer Jersey Auction Closes Sunday

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen, in partnership with Canada Diagnostic Centres, launched the fifth annual Hitmen Fight Cancer campaign in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Prairies/NWT Region in October 2013. As part of the campaign, the Hitmen have worn pink-themed third jerseys throughout the season. Fans now have an opportunity to bid on the game-worn jerseys by visiting www.hitmenhockey.com. The online auction closes Sunday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m.
Any bids received in the last 10 minutes of the auction will reset the bidding and that item will remain open for an additional 10 minutes. This will continue every 10 minutes until the item closes and no additional bids are received.
Winning bidders will be presented with jerseys following the home game on Friday, Feb. 14 against the Saskatoon Blades (7:00 p.m., Sportsnet 960).
Over four years, the Calgary Hitmen, with the support of their partners, players, staff and fans, have raised more than $71,900 through the club's Hitmen Fight Cancer initiatives.
