Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen took the ice for the last time this season facing off against the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Sitting at 59 points, Calgary is 10th in the Eastern Conference and will miss the post season for the first time since 2018.

Lethbridge opened up the scoring with two first period goals form Brayden Edwards and Carson Hopwo. A penalty shot opportunity for Sean Tschigerl in the second was stopped by Jared Picklyk at the 13:10 mark of the second, but he was able to cut the lead in half shortly after. Riley Fiddler-Schultz found the back of the net for the 28th time this season tying the game heading into the third. The third remained scoreless, pushing the game to overtime but Lethbridge was quick to end extra time scoring just 19 seconds in.
