PRINCE GEORGE, BC - For the first time in five years, the Prince George Cougars are back in the WHL Playoffs. Prince George will face the Portland Winterhawks in the first round of the 2022 WHL Playoffs.
Prince George clinched the sixth seed in the post-season via a three-way tiebreaking procedure with Spokane and Vancouver. All three teams finished with 53 points. The three-team tiebreaker saw the Cougars into sixth place on the strength of goals differential, while the Winterhawks had previously locked into the third position.
The best-of-seven first round series with Winterhawks starts on Friday, April 22nd in Portland. Below is the complete schedule for Round One.

Single game 2022 WHL Playoff tickets are now on sale at www.ticketsnorth.ca and start at just $16 for all Cougars' home games in the First Round of the WHL Playoffs.
2022 WHL Playoff ticket packages start at $180 and are available in each section (Red, Blue, Silver, Green). Senior, Youth, and Child pricing is also available. Playoff ticket packages guarantees the same seat for all Playoff home games. Package holders save a minimum of 20 percent off walk up prices.
Fans have two options to secure their 2022 WHL Playoff ticket package. Fans can put down a 10 percent deposit on 2022-23 Season Memberships, plus 50 percent payment on a playoff package, or they can purchase their playoff package in full. Any remaining balance or credit will be handled at the end of the 2022 WHL Playoffs.
2022 WHL Playoff tickets are available are available in person at the TicketsNorth box office or by phone (250-596-9964) starting on Tuesday, April 19th.
