
Hitmen Fall 5-1 In Kamloops

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen had their nine game road winning streak snapped in Kamloops Wednesday night falling 5-1 to the Blazers.
Scott Wasden scored twice for Kamloops while Kenton Dulle had a goal and two assists.
The Blazers built period leads of 2-0 and 4-1 en-route to victory.
Joel Broda, with his 51st of the season, scored the lone Hitmen goal on a second period power play.
Final shots were 26-26 as the Calgary went 1-8 on the power play. Kamloops was 1-5.
The Hitmen record drops to 56-9-3-1. They lead the Western Hockey League Standings with 116 points, but sit just two points ahead the Vancouver Giants for first place overall. The Giants have three games in hand.
Calgary is back on the ice Friday night in Vancouver against those same Giants. The Hitmen lead the season series 1-0 after a 6-3 win in Calgary on January 16th.
