Regina Pats News Release

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats are proud to put on special red jerseys Friday night against the Medicine Hat Tigers, all in support of the Canadian Forces Soldier On Fund (CFSOF). The jerseys have the Pats bulldog on the front with the Pat logo within the Canadian flag on one shoulder and the Princess Patricias Canadian Light Infantry patch on the other.

The great looking jersey will be auctioned during the game with proceeds going to the CFSOF. The Regina Pats recognize the importance of the CFSOF and what it means to the Canadian Forces.

From the Canadian Forces Personal Support Agency website:

"What is Soldier On?

The program was created in 2007, with collaboration from the Canadian Paralympic Committee, to contribute to optimizing the functional independence of injured soldiers by delivering services that support their full and active participation in physical activities, recreation or sport. The program will promote and support the return to military service and is accomplished through close working relations with the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces."

Friday night, 7pm, against the Medicine Hat Tigers is the special red jersey night. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at the Brandt Centre box office or call 543-7800.
