Lethbridge, AB - The Calgary Hitmen scored once in each period en-route to a 3-0 win over the Hurricanes in Lethbridge Saturday night.

Martin Jones made 24 saves for his second shutout of the season, 10th of his career.

Michael Stone with this 15th, Cody Sylvester his 5th and Kris Foucault his 12th, supplied the Hitmen goals.

With the win Calgary improves to 29-14-1-1. They remain two points back of Medicine Hat for top spot in the Central Division, but with five games in hand on the Tigers.

The Hitmen will now open a season high six game home stand Sunday evening when they host the Kootenay Ice. Game time is 5:00 p.m. at the Pengrowth Saddledome.

Sunday will see the launch of "Hitmen Courage", the tenth novel of the Lightning on Ice mystery series written by Alberta author, Sigmund Brouwer.

The book, a joint partnership between the Calgary Hitmen, ReadOn! Literacy and exclusive sponsor Schlumberger Canada will be given away FREE to the first 5,000 fans in the building.

Fans are also asked to take part in the Book Donation and bring a new or slightly used children's book to be dropped off in one of 10 donation bins located on the concourse. These books will then be used to help promote reading.

Then following the game two of the Hitmen featured on the cover, Ian Schultz and Michael Stone will be signing the book at the Booster Club Table located at section 212.
