Lynchburg Hillcats News Release
Lynchburg, Va. - Tonight's game between the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Saturday, June 23, with the first game beginning at 3 p.m.
The second game of the twin bill will start no earlier than 6 p.m. Virginia Governor Ralph Northam will be at City Stadium to throw out the first pitch at 5:45 p.m.

In addition to throwing out the first pitch, Governor Northam will present an official proclamation to the players and leadership of the Lynchburg-based baseball team, proclaiming June 23, 2018 as Lynchburg Hillcats Day in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Saturday will also be Sparking Saturday, featuring a post-game fireworks show, as well as Paint the Park Purple Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of Gastroenterology Associates.
