Hillcats and Blue Rocks Postponed on Friday

Lynchburg, Va. - Tonight's game between the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Wilmington Blue Rocks has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Thursday, July 19, with the first game beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The double-header will consist of two seven-inning contests.

Tickets for Friday's game can be exchanged for any other Hillcats home game during the 2018 season, subject to availability.

The Hillcats and Blue Rocks will continue their series on Saturday.

Left-hander Tanner Tully (3-8, 4.85) will start for Lynchburg against Wilmington righty Jace Vines (2-8, 5.25). First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.

It will be Sparkling Saturday at City Stadium, featuring a post-game fireworks show, presented by MemberOne Federal Credit Union.

Max Gun and Matt Present will be on the air at 5:50 p.m. with the Hillcats pre-game show on TuneIn Radio and the Radio434 App.
