
Hens Welcome 5 Millionth Fan To Fifth Third Field

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to announce that the overall attendance in the history of Fifth Third Field surpassed five million on Saturday, September 4 in a game against the Columbus Clippers.
Since it opened on April 9, 2002, Fifth Third Field has hosted 631 regular season games and 5,009,396 have enjoyed Toledo Mud Hens baseball in downtown Toledo.
Mud Hens General Manager/President Joe Napoli said, "We are absolutely thrilled to welcome our 5 millionth fan to Fifth Third Field in the Hens' ninth season in Downtown Toledo. To provide some perspective, it took 30 years before the five millionth fan walked through the gates at the Lucas County Recreation CenterNed Skeldon Stadium. Thank you Mud Hens' fans!"
