
Hens Skid as Clippers Claim Win

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo Mud Hens dropped a tight game with the Columbus Clippers 4-1 on Tuesday night at Fifth Third Field.
Dawel Lugo knocked his fifth home run of the season going 2 for 4 at the dish adding a triple.
Columbus started the scoring in the second inning as Eric Haase hit a monster home run over the video board in left field.
Lugo evened the score in the fourth inning as he crushed a home run out of the park onto Monroe Street.
The Clippers regained the lead in the fifth inning as Yu Chang doubled to left center and scored on a single by Daniel Johnson who was caught stretching at second for the second out of the inning.
In the seventh inning, Greg Allen put Columbus up by three with a two-run home run and the insurance it needed as the Clippers won 4-1.
What's Next:
The Toledo Mud Hens are back in action tomorrow for an early fourth of July celebration. First pitch with the Columbus Clippers is set for 7:05 p.m. A spectacular firework show lasting 20 minutes, 'Rock 'N' Blast', will follow the game.
