Hens Return Home to Take on IL North Foes

The Mud Hens are returning to the Glass City to take on the Rochester Red Wings and Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre Yankees in an eight-game homestand. Toledo will square off against Rochester for a four- game series and rematch of last years Governors' Cup Finals on April 27-30 and then face the Yankees in another four-game set May 1-4. The Red Wings currently lead the IL North Division with a record of 9-3 and the Yankees sit at fifth in the division having lost six in a row. This homestand will feature two installments of the High School Home Run Derby, Autograph Sunday, the Blade Baseball/Cheer Card giveaway, a school day game, Fifth Third Bank Night and post-game fireworks!

Friday, April 27 (Rochester, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) -Tonight's game will have the national anthem performed by Stacked Ham. The contest between the Hens and Red Wings can be heard live on Sports Radio 1470 AM - The Ticket and seen LIVE on BCSN.

Saturday, April 28 (Rochester, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Following tonight's contest will be the first edition of the High School Home Run Derby, with sluggers from Rogers High School and Oak Harbor competing. Tonight's match up can be heard live on Sports Radio 1470 AM - The Ticket and be seen LIVE on BCSN.

Sunday, April 29 (Rochester, 1st pitch @ 2:00 pm) - Prior to today's game, two Mud Hens players will be signing autographs from 1:15-1:45 pm and fans will also receive the Blade Baseball/Cheer Card giveaway. Friday, May 4 (Louisville, 1st pitch @ 2:00 pm) - The final game of the homestand will feature another High School Home Run Derby with competitors from New Riegel and Ottawa Hills High School.
