MIAMI, FL - The Miami HEAT announced today that they have recalled guard Andre Dawkins from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Dawkins appeared in nine games (three starts) and averaged 25.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 36.0 minutes while shooting 52.8 percent from the field, 56.4 percent from three-point range and 75.8 percent from the foul line. He set the single-game Skyforce record for made three-point field goals last night with 12, and was one shy from tying the NBA D-League record of 13, in the 138-126 win against the Texas Legends. He finished the game with 42 points while shooting 14-of-18 from the field, 12-of-15 from three-point range and 2-of-3 from the foul line.
Dawkins will be available for the HEAT's contest against the visiting Boston Celtics tonight.
