
Heat Lose to Blast

Harrisburg Heat News Release
The Harrisburg Heat hosted undefeated Baltimore Blast on Thursday night hoping to ring in the New Year with their first win of the season. Trailing only 3-2 at halftime, the Heat continued their third quarter woes on the season-- giving up three goals-- and losing 8-3.
Harrisburg's Patrick Thompson opened the scoring with his third goal of the season less than two minutes into the first quarter with an unassisted goal. Baltimore answered back less than one minute later with a goal from Tony Donatelli. Near the end of the first quarter, Donatelli found the goal again to leave the Heat trailing for good. Donatelli finished the game with four goals.
Lucio Gonzaga and Marcos Chantel also scored for the Heat.
Baltimore also saw goals from Jinho Kim, Vini Dantas, Patrick Healey, and Andrew Hoxie.
William Vanzela recorded the win in the net for the Blast, and Scott Krotee took the loss for the Heat.
The Heat will be looking for their first win of the season Saturday afternoon at 2:05Â as they host Detroit. The halftime show will feature the Jersey Devil Frisbee Dogs.
NOTES: The Heat were missing Val Teixeira and Georges NouBossie, who had coaching commitments. Adauto Neto, Chris Hall, Tom Mellor remained out with knee injuries.
