Wave Lose in Overtime to Arch-Rival Chicago Mustangs

The MKE Wave battled their biggest rival, the Chicago Mustangs Thursday night, in the traditional New Years Eve game UW-Milwaukee Panter Arena and came up short, losing in overtime 11-10.

"We made too many mental mistakes to get the result that we wanted," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We had the perfect opportunity to finish the game off but unfortunately we gave up the game tying goal with fifteen seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and let Chicago back in."

The Wave return home to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, Saturday, January 9th, 2016 at 7:05pm for our Star Wars Game!

Wave fans will be to be sent to a galaxy far far away as the young Jedis of MKE Wave take on the First Order, St. Louis Ambush. MKE Wave will be donating 5% of its tickets sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin. MKE Wave ownership will also be making a 100% personal match.
