
Heat Defeat Soles de Sonora 5-2

The Harrisburg Heat of the Major Arena Soccer League defeated Soles de Sonora 5-2 in a tough defensive battle. The Heat had five different goal scorers in the game as Tavoy Morgan, Dom Francis, Dylan Hundelt, Matt Braem and goalkeeper William Banahene all found the back of the net. Danny DiPrima chipped in with two assists and William Eskay along with Marcel Berry also recorded assists.
The Heat played a strong defensive game led by goalkeeper William Banahene. In addition to scoring a goal, Banahene only allowed two goals while making eleven saves. In front of Banahene, Heat players blocked thirteen shots with Elton de Oliveira leading the team with four blocks. Nelson Santana, Braem and Hundelt also had two blocks. Enrique Canez and Xavier Barreras scored goals for Soles de Sonora. Alejandro Gallardo made twelve saves in goal for Sonora.
With the win, the Heat advance their record to 6-3 and are now in a three way tie for second place in the Eastern Conference. The Heat immediately turn around and play another home game tomorrow against the Rochester Lancers. Game time on Sunday is 5:05 P.M.
