Heat Acquire Defenseman Sauve from Portland

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League, announce that defenseman Yann Sauve was acquired in an AHL trade between the Heat and Portland Pirates in exchange for future considerations.

Sauve, 26, has played 51 games with the Manchester Monarchs (ECHL) scoring 7 goals and adding 22 assists for 29 points. He has played in three AHL games for the Portland Pirates this season picking up an assist.

HOW ACQUIRED: Acquired in AHL trade with Portland Pirates on 3/7/16

DRAFTED: 2008 NHL Entry Draft (Round 2, #41 Overall) by Vancouver
