Flames Recall Wotherspoon from Stockton

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled defenseman Tyler Wotherspoon on an emergency basis from their AHL affiliate, the Stockton Heat.

Wotherspoon, Calgary's second round pick (57th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, has played six games for Calgary this season and averaged 14 minutes in ice-time with a +3 rating. The 22-year-old has also skated in 42 games for Stockton this season and he has four assists and 12 penalty minutes.
