Hayes Scores 100th Career Goal as Petes Fall Short in Erie

(Erie, PA) - On Saturday, March 4, the Peterborough Petes traveled to Erie, Pennsylvania to take on the Erie Otters in their third game in three days. The game was Peterborough's final matchup against a Western Conference opponent this season, and they were looking to close out cross-conference play the same way it began on September 29, with a win against the Otters. The Otters won the game 5-3.
Avery Hayes scored his 100th career OHL goal, while Brennan Othmann added two assists. Connor Lockhart and Jonathan Melee both scored, Owen Beck, Jax Dubois, Chase Stillman, and Sam Mayer picked up an assist. Michael Simpson stopped 23/27 in the loss.
