Ottawa, Ont. - The Saginaw Spirit (31-24-2-1) face off against the Ottawa 67's (42-11-3-2) Saturday, March 4, at TD Place.

Last Time:
Saginaw won 2-0 over the Peterborough Petes Thursday, March 2, at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. Tristan Lennox made 59 saves for his third shutout of the season, and a franchise record for saves made in a Spirit shutout. Mitchell Smith and Roberto Mancini each scored a goal for the Spirit.
Ottawa defeated the Kingston Frontenacs 4-1 Friday, March 3, at Leon's Centre in Kingston, Ontario. Cameron Tolnai earned three assists for the 67's, who swept the season series against the Frontenacs, 8-0.
This Season:
This is the second and final meeting between these two teams, with Ottawa winning 5-1 in Saginaw on February 4. In that game, Zayne Parekh scored the lone Spirit goal and Andrew Oke stopped 31 of 36 shots faced. Ottawa's Thomas Sirman netted two goals while Anthony Costantini and Cooper Foster each earned two helpers. Collin MacKenzie got the start for the 67's, stopping 30 of 31 shots.
Players to Watch:
Saginaw's Tristan Lennox, who signed an entry-level contract with the New York Islanders, broke the franchise record for most saves (59) in a shutout against the Petes Thursday. The goaltender has the best goals against average (GAA) this season for the Spirit with a 3.20.
Matyas Sapovaliv's 22 goals are the most for any Saginaw Skater. Dean Loukus leads the Spirit in assists (35) and is tied with Michael Misa for the lead in points (50). Andrew Oke holds the best save percentage (SV%) for Saginaw with an .893.
Ottawa's Logan Morrison holds the team lead for points (84) and goals (37). Pavel Mintyukov, who is on a four-game point streak, has the most assists (54) of any 67's skater. Goaltender Colin MacKenzie holds top marks for his team, posting a 1.91 GAA and a .927 SV%.
Saginaw has three (3) players drafted into the National Hockey League (NHL), including Matyas Sapovaliv (Vegas), Tristan Lennox (New York Islanders), and Hunter Haight (Minnesota).
Ottawa has five (5) players drafted into the NHL, including Tyler Boucher (Ottawa Senators), Jack Beck (Calgary), Vinzenz Rohrer (Montreal), Pavel Mintyukov (Anaheim), and Jack Matier (Nashville).
