Harrison Dealt to Prince George

Brandon, MB. - The Wheat Kings and Prince George Cougars have completed a Western Hockey League trade Wednesday.

The Wheat Kings have dealt 20-year old Luke Harrison to the Prince George Cougars in exchange for a ninth round selection in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

In six games with the Wheat Kings this season, the 6'1" 204 lb native of West Kelowna, B.C. had two goals. Overall, the former Spokane Chief has scored four goals in 17 games this season and during his WHL career, he has 34 points, including 21 goals in 196 games.

As a result of Wednesday's move, the Wheat Kings are back to the league limit of three overage players - center Tim McGauley and defencemen Colton Waltz and Macoy Erkamps.

On the ice, the Wheat Kings open up a 2-game Alberta road trip Friday night in Lethbridge against the Hurricanes.
