Hansch Steps Down As Director Of Player Personnel

KAMLOOPS, BC - The Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club has accepted the resignation tendered today by Director of Player Personnel Randy Hansch effective May 31st, 2007. Hansch's resignation ends a 15-year relationship between the former WHL goaltender and the Blazers' organization. Hansch is leaving the Blazers to pursue other career options.

"We are very sad to see Randy leave the Blazer family," says Blazer General Manager and Head Coach Dean Clark. "Randy has a great eye for hockey talent and we will miss those skills plus his professionalism, dedication, and integrity. We thank him for his time with the Blazers and wish him nothing but the best in the coming years."

The Blazers are now beginning the search for a replacement. A timeline for the hiring has not yet been finalized.
