Atlanta Gladiators News Release
DULUTH, Ga. - The Gladiators announced two roster moves on Wednesday, along with a future schedule change. Defenseman Joel Hanley was recalled to the team's AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates, while forward Will MacDonald was re-signed by the team.
Hanley, 23, played in three games for the Gladiators in October, and scored his first professional goal in the team's season opening game in Evansville, Ind. He had played in 15 games for the Pirates last season, collecting five assists.
MacDonald, 25, played in 13 games with the Gladiators last year, tallying three goals and six assists. The Alpharetta native also played in 23 games with the Florida Everblades over two seasons. He was a member of the Gladiators' training camp roster earlier this month, but was released shortly before the beginning of the season.
