
Haden Kruse Added to Roster as Replacement Player

KEARNEY, NE. -Forward Haden Kruse has been added to Tri-City's roster as a replacement player. He appeared in two games with the Storm during the preseason and will replace forward Gavin Brindley as he competes in an international event for Team USA.
Haden Kruse, 18, Forward, of Nisswa, Minnesota, appeared in three games as an affiliate list call-up during the 2020-2021 regular season with the Des Moines Buccaneers. Kruse was selected 99th overall in the 7th Round of the 2019 USHL Phase I Draft by the Buccaneers. He made his USHL regular season debut on January 8th, 2021, in Des Moines' 2-1 overtime road loss to the Lincoln Stars. He appeared in twenty-five games for Brainerd High School in Brainerd, Minnesota during the 2019-2020 season. Kruse netted seventeen goals and recorded seventeen assists for twenty-four total points. He also skated in fourteen games during the 2019-2020 season for Team Sanford Health of the Upper Midwest HS Elite Hockey League (UMHSEHL). Kruse was initially acquired by the Storm in a transaction with the Des Moines Buccaneers that was announced on May 27th, 2021. He appeared in two preseason games with Tri-City and scored a goal in the Storm's 4-2 road win over the Omaha Lancers on September 16th. Kruse has skated in ten games to this point in the 2021-2022 regular season with the Minnesota Wilderness (NAHL). He has scored four goals and recorded six assists for ten total points with Minnesota this season.
