Grrrowl hire Director of Corporate Sales

GREENVILLE, SC - The Greenville Grrrowl have announced the hiring of JILL GAROFANO as Director of Corporate Sales. Garofano will handle corporate sponsorship for both the Grrrowl and The BI-LO Center.
"We're very pleased to add Jill to our staff," said Ed Rubinstein, President of the Grrrowl. "She has a history of building relationships with successful sponsors, and we're confident she'll bring great partnerships to the Grrrowl and the BI-LO Center."
Garofano most recently worked in Asheville, NC, serving as the Sponsorship Coordinator for the City of Asheville. She worked to raise funds via corporate sponsorship for the largest festivals, athletic events, sports facilities and community programs in Western North Carolina. During her tenure, Garofano boosted department sponsorship and donations.
Before heading to the Carolinas, Garofano spent time in Denver, CO, working for Enterprise Car Sales and Hertz Rent-A-Car. She began with Hertz as a Station Manager in Albuquerque, NM, but was quickly promoted to District Sales Manager in Denver, and later became the Marketing Manager for Enterprise.
While receiving a bachelors and masters degree from the University of New Mexico, Garofano worked as the Corporate Cup Director of her school's Ski Team. Her responsibilities included the planning and execution of fundraisers, ski races at six different mountains, a race camp, and the team awards ceremony.
