Fitzsimmons to Attend Bears Prospect Camp
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC- The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that Head Coach Jason Fitzsimmons will be attending a prospect camp held by the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League. The camp will be held at Giant Center in Hershey, PA July 10-15.
The camp will consist of players participating in both on and off-ice sessions with coaches and player personnel. The week will include an open practice session held on Thursday, July 14 at Giant Center.

The South Carolina Stingrays will be touring the Low Country this summer! We'll be packing up our skates and sticks and heading to area businesses for fun, food and giveaways. This is a great opportunity to partner with the Stingrays and promote your business at the same time!

Daubenspeck Elected PHPA Player Rep
The Professional Hockey Players' Association announced Wednesday that Kirk Daubenspeck has been elected to the Association's Executive Committee. John Wroblewski of Fresno was also elected.
"These young men have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to their teammates and Association in serving as Player Representatives" said PHPA Executive Director Larry Landon.
Daubenspeck and Wroblewski join current members Ian Manzano, Milt Mastad and Ben Keup.
Members are elected to a term of three years and are able to be re-elected at the Association's Annual Meeting. The executive committee offers oversight and direction in dealing with matters important to the Association and its Membership.
The Association has been an advocate of player interests since 1967. The PHPA is the bargaining unit for nearly 1400 players representing 56 teams in the American Hockey League and ECHL.
