
Reading's Holden, Florida's Jennings share ECHL equipment manager award

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that Russ Holden of Reading
and John Jennings of Florida have been chosen as co-recipients of the ECHL
Equipment Manager of the Year award for 2004-05. The award is determined in
a vote of ECHL equipment managers.
Entering his second season with the Royals, Holden previously worked one
season with Louisiana of the ECHL and from 1999-2003 was the equipment
manager for Jackson of the ECHL. The native of Alberta previously worked in
the Western Hockey League with Brandon from 1996-99 and for four seasons in
the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League with Yorkton.
Jennings has been the head equipment manager for the Everblades the past
five seasons after six years with Louisiana of the ECHL. The native of
Bracebridge, Ontario began his career in professional hockey with Wichita
of the Central Hockey League.
