West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies visited the VA Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, handing out tickets and giving thanks to all those who have given their service to our country.

"It's incredible what they have done for us," forward Tim McGauley said. "You really can't put it into words. We try to do what we can, giving them t-shirts and tickets but it's nothing compared to what they have done to us. These men and women are incredible."

With Veterans Day this week, Grizzlies players, as well as Grizzbee and staff personnel, shared their gratitude for the great men and women who have served.

"We appreciate what they do, and the service they provide us so we can live in a free country," forward Brendan Harms said. "Just to be able to do the things that we get to do. Just to be able to say 'Thank you.' helps and goes a long way."

The Grizzlies begin a 6 game homestand on Wednesday, November 14th vs. the Indy Fuel. For more information or tickets go to utahgrizzlies.com or call the Grizzlies at (801) 988-8000.
