Grizzlies To Host Recycling Night At The Ballpark

The Gateway Grizzlies have teamed up with Anheuser-Busch Recycling and TOTALL Metal Recycling to bring Anheuser-Busch Recycling Night at the Ballpark.

The event takes place Saturday, July 12th starting at 12:00 p.m. It will run through the third inning (approximately 8:00 p.m.) of the Grizzlies/Midwest Sliders game which begins at 7:05 p.m. TOTALL Metal Recycling will have trailers set up on the gravel parking lot of GCS Ballpark and will be able to assist you with any questions.

Recyclable items include, but are not limited to computers, televisions, washers, industrial machinery, lawn equipment, and motors. The official list of acceptable and unacceptable items is attached below. Some items will have a fee attached to them.

"It's a great opportunity to team up with two great organizations that care so much about the environment," said Dan O'Leary with Anheuser-Busch Recycling. "Not only are we partnering for this one night event, but Grizzlies fans have the opportunity to recycle each and every home game by placing their empty aluminum bottles in the recycling containers around the stadium."

Single game tickets, mini-plans and group outings are currently on sale and are available by calling the Grizzlies at 618-337-3000 or visiting the GCS Ballpark ticket office in person.
