
Grizzlies Take Series Finale from Rascals

The Gateway Grizzlies took the finale of a three-game Sonic Crosstown Clash series from the River City Rascals 6-1 in front of 5,071 at GMC Stadium.
The Grizzlies took a 2-0 lead in the first thanks to a 2-run home run by Todd Oetting-his fourth of the season.
The Rascals scored a run in the third thanks to an RBI-double by Josh Ury. That made it 2-1.
The Grizzlies added four runs in the eighth inning. Ben Piatt picked up a pair of RBIs with a pinch hit single. Tony Coyne and Ryan Sullivan scored. Oetting scored on an RBI double by newcomer Wayne Astrauskas. Astrauskas scored on an RBI single by Phil Warren.
The Grizzlies begin a four-game series with the Cook County Cheetahs on Sunday.
The two teams will play a double-header beginning at 5:05 Sunday evening.
