Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Utah - Appearing in their first game action since Jan. 18, the Wranglers fell to the Grizzlies 2-1, who outshot Las Vegas 39-28 on the night.

Forward John Armstrong got the scoring started for Las Vegas 5:58 into the first with his 8th of the year, assisted by Anthony Perdicaro and Chris Francis. The goal came on the Wranglers' first power play of the night, as they continue to play well on the man-advantage on the road - sitting 4th in the league (20.0%) in that category.

The 1-0 score would stand until late in the second period when Utah's Jamie MacQueen batted home a power play goal with just 50 seconds to go in the frame. The score, which tied the game at one, was MacQueen's 13th of the year, assisted by fellow forward Kris Hogg.

The tie was finally broken 8:03 into the final period when Utah's D.J. Jelitto beat O'Keefe for his 7th goal of the year, giving the Grizzlies an ultimate and final 2-1 lead.

For Las Vegas, the loss was their fourth straight and fifth in their last six games. Tonight's full box score can be found here.
